Summary

Kinhaven LLC ("Kinhaven") respects your privacy. Our free tools run in your web browser. What you type into them is stored in your browser's local storage on your device and is not sent to Kinhaven's servers.

Information stored only in your browser

The Home Safety Checklist, Downsizing Planner, Care Options Comparison, Estate Task Tracker, and Family Weekly Update save entries in your browser's local storage so you can return to them. Anyone with access to your device and browser may be able to see them. You can delete them with the "Clear my entries" button in each tool, or by clearing your browser's site data. Clearing data cannot be undone.

Information you choose to send

The forms on this site do not send anything to us on their own. When you sign up for the newsletter or ask to be notified when plans open, the site opens your own email app with a message ready for you to send. The "Email me my checklist" and "Was this page helpful?" forms work the same way. We receive only what you choose to send. We use your email address only to tell you when plans open and to send the newsletter, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Paid plans and your account

When you buy a plan we store your email, your purchases, your intake answers, your generated plan and checklist, guide chat messages, family members you invite, and any support or agent introduction requests. Intake answers, plans, chat messages, and introduction contact details are encrypted when stored. We do not ask for medical diagnoses. Family members you invite can see your plan, checklist, and chat history, and you can remove them at any time.

AI use

Service providers

We use providers to run the service: a payment processor, an email delivery provider, a hosting and database provider, and an AI provider. To personalize the wording of your plan and letters, your intake answers (without the family contact list) are sent to the AI provider. Guide questions are answered from pre-written, reviewed answers and are never sent to the AI provider. [Attorney and owner to confirm provider names and their data retention terms before launch.]

Agent referrals

If you ask to be connected with a real estate agent, we may contact you by phone or email about your request. We share your contact details only with a licensed agent you agree to be introduced to. See the referral disclosure in the footer.

Payments

Cookies and analytics

Your choices

If you have an account, you can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
